Full-bodied wines produced from quality grape varieties and developed thanks to a process (mutage) since the 13th century. This process consists in adding vinic alcohol to fermenting grape juice which permits to preserve part of the natural sweetness of the fruit.

VDN AOC MUSCAT de RIVESALTES Château AVERNUS

Blending Muscat of Alexandria and Muscat à Petits Grains.
Intensively and delicately flavoured, nice harmony between sweetness and freshness in the mouth.
Best if served at 8° - 10°. Perfect accompaniment to aperitif, dessert and foie gras.

VDN AOC RIVESALTES

Torre del Far 100 % black Grenache.

Mouth-filling and richly flavoured wine for this muted one “on berries” of young type.

Amber colour, no vintage, Macabeu and white Grenache.

The wines are produced through blending together the grapes varieties of black Carignan, black Grenache and Mourvèdre.

After long macerations (21 days) and everyday operations of pumping over and “délestages” (removing wine from vat”), the wines are stored in oak vats or in tanks during 12 months. Then, they are bottled to complete the maturation process of their gustative characters.
